Technological innovations are changing the way of human lives being led, Regional Intermediate Officer Z.S Ramachandra Rao said here on Sunday. Addressing students after inaugurating a technical exhibition ‘Techno Avishkar’ organised by The Hindu Future India Club in association with Vignan University at the Wolf Hall grounds here, Mr. Rao said that students of intermediate would get a lot of inspiration as the technical exhibits were made by students of engineering.
The exhibition featured some of the trending technologies such as Internet of Things, Big Data analytics, artificial intelligence and robotics. Over 6,000 exhibits were presented by the students of Vignan University, Vignan Lara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vignan Nirula College of Engineering. Some of the exhibits on harnessing solar energy, use of radar sensors in surveillance, use of sensors and buzzers at ATM to prevent theft were interesting. Vice Chancellor of Vignan University M.Y.S. Prasad, Dean, Engineering, V. Madhusudana Rao, Dean, IT services, K.V Krishna Kishore and Dean, admissions Ravi Kumar, and principals K. Phaneendra and P. Radhika were present.
