Using ML and deep learning techniques, IPA platforms can analyze insurance applications and provide recommendations to underwriters along with visualization tools to explain these recommendations. Underwriters can use this information for accelerating the overall process.

4. Cognitive Q&A

Policy and pricing information about various insurance offerings is typically stored in enterprise knowledge bases. IPA platforms provide an omnichannel (email, voice, messaging, web, etc.) and conversational interface where you can look up queries from end users, brokers and agents across multiple channels and answer them automatically through its conversational interface.
