Hillary was 'super cheap' with private office technology - New York Post

The Clintons made more than $10 million in income last year, but when it came to outfitting a private office with computers and software, Hillary Clinton’s team was “super cheap,” her IT geeks complained.

A trove of internal emails reviewed by The Post from the Denver company that ran Clinton’s private server expose the relentless haggling by her staff.

“They’re being super cheap about the computers,” IT specialist Paul Combetta of Platte River Networks wrote on Feb. 4, 2014, about setting up Hillary’s private office at 444 Madison Ave.

A Clinton office manager wondered if there was a way to shave off a few dollars on the hardware, asking, “Would a smaller screen 19 or 20” monitor make a difference [in price]?”

“Looking at ways to cut down on the cost per unit,” wrote Marisa McAuliffe, operations manager for the Clinton office.

Three months into the same discussion about the computers, exasperated PRN employee Kelsey Kingsbury wrote to a colleague, “They are driving me crazy!!! They signed off on the laptops on Friday, 1 day after the quote expired!!!”

“Ugh,” replied Combetta. “Freakin bureaucrats.”

Hillary and Bill Clinton earned $10,168,272 in 2015 from book royalties, speaking engagements and consulting.
