Speaking on BT Sport in the video above, Ian Wright calls for the imminent introduction of video technology in football.
The topic cropped up following Robert Snodgrass earning a penalty through a dive during Hull's home fixture against Crystal Palace.
The Tigers midfielder has since apologised on Twitter for his actions, but it remains to be seen whether he will be punished for simulation.
BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey pondered whether the FA should adopt the MLS's technique. The American league's officials watch back footage from the games and give retrospective action depending on what they find.
But Webb said the introduction of post-match action may mean referees hesitate making big calls during the game.
He also said that teams such as Palace would prefer for the decision to be made in the moment - a retrospective punishment for Hull would mean nothing for the Eagles.
Webb claimed that video technology would be the only sure fire way of getting correct decisions.
Something that Wright agrees with.
Speaking on BT Sport he said: "It seems ridiculous, because that [Snodgrass's dive] could have been sorted out yesterday.
"Why wait till Monday, when you can literally sort it out right now. The fourth official can just go 'bang'.
"They've got to bring it in, they've got to bring it in now."
Redknapp echoed Wright's thoughts by saying the introduction of video technology would mean the right decision would be delivered in a matter of seconds.
